The only way to do this is to run more. Once your body gets used to you working out more, you will be able to see the change in your workout. Also, make sure you are breathing correctly during running. It best to start off by breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth. This should be exaggerated the first couple of times that you run so that you get used to the feeling of taking in fresh air and breathing out. Once it starts to become natural you will know that you are breathing correctly and your running and cardio will improve. Hope that helps!

Any aerobic exercise (such as running, swimming, or biking) for at least 20 minutes. If your throat is dry then drink some water.
I also have (allergy and sports induced) asthma. Taking my inhaler as prescribed certainly helped me. I now get allergy shots and the asthma doesn’t seem to be a problem.
Just keep working hard, good luck!
