Natural health magazines abound, often giving you conflicting advice. Who should you believe?I believe any good natural health magazine, like any good magazine, shouldn’t so much give you advice, rather they should give unbiased important pros and cons and leave you to work out the best solution for you. After all you are unique. What is helpful to the magazine editor may be harmful to you. Only you can decide. Being unbiased is hugely important. We’re all reading in the news how doctors have been paid to create unsubstantiated ‘scientific’ papers supporting some drug or other. Natural health magazine editors are people too. Some good, some bad, some indifferent. If the editor only advocates items they receive a royalty form, they aren’t unbiased. Sure, we all need to make our daily crust, but it’s best to be open about what we profit from. A good natural health magazine should look at all aspects of health, not just focus on physical ailments. For example, diet is critical to good health. I recently read of six people, all suffering with type 2 diabetes, on insulin and all obese. Within one week of a change of diet, most were off their insulin. Within one month, they all were. Isn’t that awesome?I find it extraordinary that doctors receive no nutritional training whatsoever. Yet I doubt there is a natural health therapist who doesn’t understand the importance of diet. Natural health covers every aspect of who you are. You aren’t just your body. You aren’t just your mind. You are a unique and complex unit. Your feelings and emotions are as important (actually more so) as your thoughts and creations. So any natural health magazine worth its salt will cover aspects of your emotional health, as well as your physical health. When you ignore your emotional health, sooner or later you’ll suffer physical ill health. Everyone knows that stress causes anxiety and that anxiety causes higher blood pressure and faster heart rate. While that’s fine for a short period, if you continually have these ‘anxiety attacks’, your physical health will deteriorate. But you don’t have to resort to drugs. There are many effective, natural alternatives. And homeopathy can actually get to the cause of why you are suffering these attacks in the first place. And fix it. And lastly, your magazine should have a readers question area. Whilst the answer may not be specifically helpful for your ailment, they should be able to point you in the right direction. They should know what areas each natural health modality excels in and which has limited ability. For example, you wouldn’t go to a masseuse if you had incontinence. And you probably wouldn’t go to a chiropractor if you had a torn ligament. It’s doubtful you’d see an acupuncturist if you had been abused as a child. Yet all these health issues can be resolved using homeopathy.

I was about 15 years old when I first learned about masturbation. I was always curious about my bodily functions and sex, but I was also extremely shy to ask my mom or grandmother about it. My friends and I discussed these topics a lot (I think they were the only topics at that time) but none of us were really experts. Nonetheless, we all pooled out knowledge together, but we got nowhere.
I Found Momâs Womenâs Health Magazine Very Interesting
There were so many questions floating in my mind, when I found by chance my momâs womenâs health magazine. Leafing through it I got a glimpse of a lot of âthe right type of informationâ and so I sat down to read it. I still remember the relief I felt when I read that masturbation is normal and that all girls and boys did so around my age. I was feeling extremely depressed regarding this fact. My friends were also worried about this, to tell you the truth.
I shared the womenâs health magazine with my friends, and from then on we read it every week. The routine would be to wait for a week, time within which mom reads the magazine back to back. By the second week, no one wants to know where the magazine is. This is the time when we used to take the magazine and enjoy the information given therein.
There is a wealth of information in most of womenâs health magazines and it is wonderful to have it at your fingertips. By the way of fingertips, in this computer-age, you will be happy to know that there are a great number of electronic womenâs health magazines on the internet itself.
Information is power. It is always good to know the answer when the question pops up in your mind. This is why it is good that parents maintain a very open and friendly way of conversing and communicating. This is important because no womenâs health magazine can ever provide the caring guidance a parent can offer.
A good tip regarding find the right womenâs health magazine: chose those health magazines which give in depth information about women concerns and diseases. Remember, âailmentâ term is not always attached to those who have a sick body. There are a million of other deviations, including the fact that as the women approach their menopause, women almost loose control over their body. The symptoms of menopause can be terrifying if you are not prepared for it. It is in situations like this that books and magazines are indeed a great help!

In Hollywood, there are many actors who are deemed healthy because of their chiseled bodies and well built physique. But in reality, only a few celebrities embody the real essence of being healthy, which involves not only the physical, but the mental and emotional aspect as well. Men’s Health Magazine has found its ideal representation in Grey’s Anatomy’s Eric Dane.
On the May issue of Men’s Health Magazine, the Grey’s Anatomy star known by fans as “McSteamy,” straightforwardly speaks about his lifestyle, most especially his healthy outlook in life. Even though he is engulfed in fame and stardom because of his exposure on the ABC’s hit show Grace Anatomy, he remains to be grounded and unassuming.
Like many actors, Dane aspires to remain in the limelight as much as he can.
While he doesn’t have an intricate plan to strategize his stay in the entertainment industry, he has a philosophy, which he believes and practice.
Nowadays, the showbiz world is full of pressure and has become chaotic more than ever. However, he claims that he deals with everything with a positive attitude and makes choices that are geared towards endurance. And although he is ambitious, he doesn’t want to put stress on himself in setting specific goals to his career, which just might disappoint him if things turn out otherwise. He has also revealed that part of what makes him wholesome and healthy is the fact that he deals with situations as they come and just adapt with the life’s changes.
Before Dane landed the role of Dr. Mark Sloan on Grey’s Anatomy, he has been on shows like Saved by the Bell, Married with Children and The Wonder Years.
His film credits include Serving in Silence, Helter Skelter, The Basket, Sol Goode, Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane and Feast Open Water 2.
