How Long Until I Can See Weight Lifting Results?

Posted by NoChubbyHubby on July 5, 2009

If I start lifting weights tomorrow (curls and lifting dumbbells above my head) and doing push ups, how long until I will be able to see results of bigger/more defined muscles.
I am not planning to do cardio btw. I’m of slightly above average weight, not fat.

Depends on how hard you work. If you do a laid back workout routine, then it’s going to take a very very long time before you notice anything. But, if you work hard and are determined, then you might start seeing some results in as little as 6 weeks.

Darin Steen has a program that lasts a month or something and is ridiculously effective. My husband trained with him – follow everything he says. here’s his youtube: http://www.youtube.com/fatlosslifestyle
He actually trains fitness trainers… lol

If you’re not doing cardio at least 3 times a week, then it will take years.

    5 to 6 years
