Body for Life question about weight training?

Posted by NoChubbyHubby on January 21, 2010

Heres the question. I have started the body for life challenge and am a bit confused on the weight training. Are I supposed to complete circuit (chest, shoulders, back, tricept, bicept) in the six sets of 12 reps five complete times meaning once we do the five workout groups we repeat the entire set over again for a total of five circuits 6 sets and 12 reps? I know its confusing, so I am making this chart:

Represents 1 complete workout circuit
1. Chest – 6 sets of 12 reps each
2. Shoulders – 6 sets of 12 reps each
3. Back – 6 sets of 12 reps each
4. Tricept – 6 sets of 12 reps each
5. Bicepts – 6 sets of 12 reps each

Am I to repeat the circuit listed above five times?

Select one exercise and conduct five sets with it, starting with a set of 12 reps, then increasing the weight and doing 10 reps, adding more weight and doing 8 reps, adding more weight for 6 reps. Then reduce the weight and do 12 reps. Immediately perform another set of 12 reps for that muscle group using the second selected exercise. So it looks like the workout suggests doing all 6 sets for chest then all 6 for shoulders etc etc… You do not repeat the circuit 5 times.
