Are There Any State Health Programs For Preganant Women Who Dont Have Health Insurance?

I just found out that i am pregnant . My husband is umemployed and we dont have health insurance. so now i am so much worried. i am resided in Michigan. Is there anyone from MI who knows about any kinda free state health programs for pregnant women. If yes then i how can i pursue them?
i will really appreciate any kinda help.

yes there is many options for woman with no health insurance like Medicaid check with your local health and human service department to get more information..

yes there is something called the forward card. also there is wicc programs where you can get food for you to nourish your baby and once the baby is born formula for him/her.

Does Michigan have a WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) program?

Medicaid. I am trying to get on it right now. You need your birth certificate and possibly a few check stubs. If you dont make enough you should be able to get on it.

Medicaid for pregnant women. It ends about 30 or 60 days after you have the baby.
